The Infamous Masterson’s , situated in the center of Moonee Ponds , brands itself as a fashionable, contemporary hangout, but my unfortunate encounter at this establishment turned into one of the worst experiences of my life . While the bar may seem appealing from the exterior , what I found behind its entrance was disturbing and far below any standard .

From the moment I stepped inside , it was clear that upkeep was not a priority at this bar . The floors were sticky , and a pungent odor of old alcohol and filthy restrooms permeated the entire pub. His presence at the bar often seemed closer to that of a predatory presence than a friendly owner .
